ISAM MEETING 2010 - accommodation transfers

OFFICIAL CONGRESS REDUCED RATES FOR ACCOMMODATION

LOC will be offering reduced rates for accommodation with a choice of top quality hotels at various prices, until completion of the available Hotel capacity. We strongly advise all participants to reserve their hotel accommodation as soon as possible.

TRANSFERS

For participants staying at official conference hotels - but Starhotels Tourist which is at 15' walking distance from the meeting venue - transfer will be provided by congress organization to/from the conference site. Buses will leave from the official conference hotels from the conference venue. Average transfer time at peak hours is 35 minutes. Furthermore at the end of the morning session, a limited number of buses will be available to downtown and main Metro stations.

Important notes:

Organizing committee shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his/her luggage or any other property for any reason whatsoever, for any tourist services provided. Personal travel and health insurance is recommended.

Internet Connection at 10,00 euros per 60 minutes on consumption, applies only in the location of purchase, valid within 24 hours from first log in, purchased through gem tek, debit on account hotel. Booking confirmation. By credit card with payment of the 1st night not refundable within three days after the confirmation of the reservation. From the confirmation to July 3rd: the first night paid upon confirmation of the reservation will not be refunded in case of cancellation. From July 3rd to August 3rd: a penalty of 50% on the total amount cancelled, including the first deposit already paid, will be charged on the guest's credit card. From August 4th to September 3rd: a penalty of 75% on the total amount cancelled, including the first deposit already paid, will be charged on the guest's credit card. From September 4th to September 20th: a penalty of 90% on the total amount cancelled, including the first deposit already paid, will be charged on the guest's credit card. From September 21st for no-show and early departures: a penalty of 100% on the total amount cancelled, including the first deposit already paid, will be charged on the guest's credit card.

Included in the price: Breakfast and 15 mins at Internet Points in the hotels. Prices are guaranteed by April, 20. Payment. Payment direct in the Hotel upon arrival. Credit Card is required before the arrival. Cancellation. Till one day before arrival withouth any cancellation penalty only if attendee send to the Hotel a written note via fax or email. Reservation. Reservation will be kept by the Hotel Milano Centro till noon and by the Hotel Milano Ca' Granda till 7 pm of the arrival date. In order to guarantee attendee’s reservation for late arrival the Hotel will charge the first night as no show.

FROM / TO MAIN AIRPORTS

Local Organizing Committee does not provide any pick-up. But, following a large number of request for this service, we asked to a provider of this service a discount rate from/to airports and hotels.

It is more than a “standard taxi service”. It is a “Limousine service” at a special price strictly reserved to ISAM2010 attendees: the chauffeur (driver) will welcome you at the Arrival gate keeping in his hands a sign-board with your name. Because of this, you (and the persons with you), will not stay in the queue waiting for a taxi. So, you will avoid to waste your time after a long trip. The driver will help you taking care of your luggage from the arrival gate to the car, putting it into the trunk of the car. The car is elegant and comfortable.

For example, from/to Malpensa Airport and hotel the special rate is only 80 euros (160 euros for both transfers MXP – Rosa Grand) plus taxes, instead of the standard fixed price for taxi that nowadays is 85 euros (170 euros for both transfers MXP – Rosa Grand and Rosa Grand MXP).
